Recruiting Coordinator

Position

The Recruiting Coordinator will be a member of the Human Resources team and will report to the Recruiting Manager with a dotted line to the Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, providing multifaceted support for the firm's consulting recruitment practices. The Bridgespan recruiting team recruits at the campus level for both Associate Consultant and Consultant positions (at the post-undergraduate and post-graduate school) as well as staff hiring (Executive Assistants, Finance and IT roles). Primary responsibilities of the Recruiting Coordinator include, supporting the fall campus recruiting process, and support of diversity recruiting initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a high-functioning Human Resources team while gaining a comprehensive understanding of the nonprofit sector.

Responsibilities

Campus recruiting and staff hiring

  • Support campus recruiting via
    • Campus event planning
    • Assisting with facilitating the resume review process
    • Interview scheduling and gathering feedback
    • Developing relationships with Career Services contacts and student groups
  • Maintaining data related to recruitment activity via Applicant Tracking System (Taleo) and produce year end reporting
  • Updating and maintaining multiyear prospect tracker
  • Support staff hiring via
    • Utilizing sourcing tools, including internal database searches, job boards, social media outlets and referrals to increase applicant pools
    • Reviewing resumes and conducting phone screens
    • Interview scheduling
    • Developing relationships with recruiting firms

Diversity recruiting
  • Maintain a central calendar of diversity recruiting events
  • Coordinate mock interview program
  • Support execution of participation in partner conferences and recruiting events (e.g. CGSM, MBA JumpStart, MLT), including logistical planning, event staffing, marketing efforts and on site execution
  • Help identify opportunities to enhance diversity recruiting efforts
  • Track progress towards diversity and inclusion goals
  • Manage tracking system in CRM to oversee candidate cultivation efforts
  • Support full integration of diversity recruiting initiatives with on campus and lateral hiring

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • 1-2 years of recruiting experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, juggle multiple tasks simultaneously and deal with highly confidential information
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills are required
  • Enthusiasm for Bridgespan's organizational values and commitment to racial equity, diversity, and inclusion
  • Orientation to quality, continuous improvement and customer service
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comprehensive knowledge of computer software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and ability to learn new technology quickly, is required
  • Experience with Taleo preferred
