Social Media Coordinator & Designer

We are looking for a dynamic, creative Social Media Coordinator & Designer to lead social campaigns for our clients in the retail, hospitality and real estate verticals. Reporting to our Social Media Manager, this individual will be a central part of our messaging team. They will work alongside our internal public relations, marketing and event departments to develop and implement content calendars, both organic and paid social strategies, and manage reporting across social platforms and influencer programs. Experience with consumer brands, hospitality and real estate verticals a plus.

The ideal candidate has:
- An innate sense of creativity and curiosity, with an editorial eye for content, copy, and messaging standards
- An understanding of platform best practices, features, and audiences, and how they support each other and the client’s message as a unifying force
- A desire to cultivate and maintain in-depth knowledge and understanding of clients in a range of industries
- The ability to work with our internal teams and clients on consumer-facing activations and campaigns
- Pre-existing relationships with key social media influencers, and the drive to expand this network
- Visual and aesthetic skills, including but not limited to photography and graphic design, as well as experience using key platforms such as Photoshop, VSCO Cam, and Keynote
- Solid copywriting skills
- An understanding of and appreciation for brand voice, and the ability to conceptualize, hone, and implement a variety of personas across clients’ social media handles
- Solid interpersonal skills; able to interact with coworkers, clients, influencers, and event attendees

Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing, communications, graphic design or a related field
- 2+ years social media experience
- Demonstrated social media marketing knowledge across a variety of platforms
- Understanding of native social media insights, analytics and reporting
- Excellent project management skills

- Experienced indoor and outdoor photographer
- Experience working in a variety of lighting set ups with models and products
- Able to capture quality candid shots
- Able to pull together shot lists and formal photoshoots
- Strong knowledge of Photoshop and graphic design best practices

Social media
- Build and execute social media strategy
- Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original and sourced text, images, video or HTML)
- Optimize company pages within social platforms to increase the visibility of company’s social content
- Familiarity with social reporting
