Instructional Designer

Bozzuto's Learning & Development Department is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Instructional Designer. The employees of Bozzuto are highly dependent on the educational resources available as part of their career success, growth and development. With focus on the highest quality of development and design of curriculum, the Instructional Designer will contribute to the conceptualization, development, implementation and measurement of all learning curriculum, instructor led or e-Learning. Expected Contributions: Develop, maintain and continuously improve Company's education programs and learning opportunities. Assist in assessing current skill and behavioral needs of specific job roles. Review current online curriculum for relevance and engagement. Make necessary recommendations on curriculum and program continuity Use resources to determine the best way to disseminate learning curriculum. Create informal learning opportunities by producing instructional videos to be used for just-in-time training in mobile and online formats Develop critical ongoing learning transfer systems and measurements resulting in higher learning retention and on the job performance. Increase on the job transfer or application of skills following training events. Increase social and informal learning initiatives and incorporate into learning design. Research current and emerging eLearning technologies such as: wikis, blogs, collaborative or social networking tools, mobile devices etc. Assist in the development of standard eLearning processes in the areas of programming, project management, and instructional design. Design new, update or revise existing curriculum for greater alignment with business outcomes Load, test, and evaluate programs in the Learning Management System. Demonstrate high level of consulting skills fostering collaborative efforts and buy-in for learning initiatives across operational departments. Deliver learning curriculum in a timely fashions. Transfers programs into an eLearning platform as appropriate. Creates project plans that are clear and attainable.
