Technical Analyst

The Technical Analyst is an entry-level position designed to build your technical consulting experience in the enterprise technology space. We are looking for an individual with a strong technical foundation to provide an amazing implementation experience for our customers. You are a quick learner, you have a passion for technology and want to use that passion to help customers solve their technical implementation needs.  This is not a technical support role - while you will be responsible for supporting senior members of the technical consulting team on large and technically complex deployments,  you will also be expected to independently lead technical implementation work streams across our general customer base.  


  • Advising on integration implementations, including Salesforce, NetSuite, Jive, Google Apps and others, as well as custom client applications 
  • Consulting on how to best leverage the Box APIs 
  • Setting up Single Sign-On (SSO) and troubleshooting SSO deployments 
  • Increasing Box Consulting's technical prowess by consistently improving your own skills and applying them to address our customer's needs  
  • Identifying improvement areas for how Box Consulting delivers to our customers 
  • Supporting the building of a "Best-in-Class" consulting organization 


  • 4-year degree from a Computer Science or comparable program 
  • Familiarity with SaaS and Cloud technologies 
  • Familiarity with at least one of the following: Java, PHP, C, C++, C#, Ruby or Python 
  • Familiarity with mobile platforms, including iOS, Android, Windows Mobile 

Nice-to-have Skills

  • 1- 3 years work experience 
  • 1+ years programming experience 
  • 1+ years project management experience 
  • Information Security experience 
  • An understanding of RESTful API design concepts and the JSON format 
  • Familiarity with SAML, OpenID, Active Directory and Single Sign-on standards 
  • Familiarity with Identity Management solutions such as Ping Federate, Okta, OneLogin or similar 
  • Familiarity with Mobile Device Management solutions such as MobileIron, Airwatch or similar 
  • Familiarity with networking and infrastructure
