Our Engineering Org is focused on making it easy to access, manage, and collaborate on business content, securely in a scaleable and performant way! Our Program Management team's mission is to drive program and project execution to realize Box's ultimate potential. In this Sr. Technical Program Manager role, you will partner closely with our Development, Technical Operations and Box Leadership to deliver products across our Web, Mobile and Box Notes applications. The Technical Program Management team partners across Box to scope and execute sophisticated technical programs. From handling resource planning activities to communicating vertically and horizontally across teams, we need you to drive execution and keep partners aligned and informed. We need you to own outcomes and keep an eye out for process improvements to enhance execution and efficiency of the teams involved. Our team is very big in supporting one another and loves to learn and share new findings. We all have a super power and are looking forward to leveraging yours!

The impact of these programs and projects will require you to coordinate between development, technical operations, finance, compliance, legal and security teams to name a few. You will act as strategic partner to VPs and Directors of these areas with weekly interaction and updates on execution and delivery of programs you own. In this role you will be involved in shaping the strategic direction engineering is taking. You will build a strong leadership foundation and develop a lot of the necessary skills to lead a team. This role will provide you all the fundamentals, relationships and impact necessary to elevate your career!
Who you are
You are an experienced Technical Program Manager, with at least 5 years of experience in the Program Management space, preferably with experience delivering amazing end user experiences. We hope that you'll bring your unique skillset and passions to add to the colorful dynamic of the team, while also bringing an analytical perspective to problem-solving and a love for negotiating cross-functionally. You also have strong technical aptitude, experience in software/system design, and development methodologies (including Agile). You have strong project management fundamentals which enable you to drive programs/projects to completion and support scrum teams. You are execution focused and constantly driven to deliver results. Things change quite frequently here at Box, so an intrinsic ability to deal with ambiguity and having a flexible and adaptive mindset will be key. A passion for all things cloud is, of course, also a big advantage!
