As a Sr Staff Cloud Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient usage of multiple major Public Cloud providers, in conjunction with our Private Clouds across multiple datacenters. You will work across the entire Engineering organization and with our Cloud Vendors to ensure we are optimally using the right products from each, manage utilization to ensure high efficiency while ensuring site reliability, and keeping up with developments in the industry to ensure we are optimally using new cloud products and features.

We'd love to add someone with experience working with Public Clouds at scale, especially in a hybrid Public/Private cloud environment. We are looking for a hands-on technologist with a broad range of experience: equally comfortable with building dashboards and automation, keeping up to date with developments in the Cloud services landscape, and providing thought leadership across engineering and the broader business to manage our Cloud use.

Who you are
- You have strong experience with large scale Infrastructure and distributed systems
- You have experience with a variety of Public and Private Cloud technologies (Openstack, Kubernetes), and are familiar with the industry landscape and trends
- You are passionate about keeping up with developments in the Public and Private Cloud landscape
- You are comfortable with working in a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment with ambiguous problems to define and create solutions
- Bonus points if you have experience with Capacity Planning, statistical modeling and IT cost concepts
