Sr. People Partner

Box’s People Team focuses on attracting, developing, and retaining world-class talent. And the way we do it is simple: by fostering an environment that keeps Boxers growing, productive, and happy. The People Partner is an integral part of the People Team. We are looking to add a dynamic, hands-on Senior People Partner to help us grow our unique, innovative culture while we scale as a recent post-IPO company. In addition, you will be managing multiple people projects simultaneously in efforts to continue to develop our people programs and excite and retain Boxers in key client groups.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and maintain effective partnerships with org leaders, managers and individual contributors
  • Work closely with leadership and managers on organizational change initiatives, people/performance decisions and actions, talent management development, employee engagement, communication, and HR program roll out
  • Partner with other People functions (COE's) and internal resources to drive and executive corporate wide People Initiatives and programs 
  • Constructively challenge the status quo for purpose of improving outcomes or processes 
  • Coach managers and sr. management through employee related issues as well as Box processes 
  • Assess organizational health and effectiveness on a regular basis (pulse of the org) and identifying opportunities to drive improvements and efficiencies
  • Act as a liaison between the People Team, client groups, and other stakeholders at Box, all while representing Box values and culture

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5-10 years applicable HR Business Partner experience
  • General knowledge of all functional areas in HR
  • Demonstrated ability scaling processes and managing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to thrive in an unstructured environment with minimal supervision 
  • Excellent communication, mediation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to think critically, problem solve, and recommend effective solutions
  • Must be able to work at various levels - Strategic, operational and tactical 
  • Exceptional organization and project management skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the tech industry
  • Experience working at companies big (500+) and small
  • A sense of humor!
