Sr. Manager, Monetization & Growth

The Digital Marketing team is dedicated to building and operating an efficient channel for acquiring, managing and monetizing both paid customers and free users. This is done by using digital activities to generate both pipeline for the sales organization and revenue through a world class self-serve experience in the Online channel.
 
As the Senior Manager responsible for Monetization and Growth on the Online Sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing efforts aimed at driving revenue growth through the Online channel. You'll leverage email, In App Messaging, on-boarding, website capabilities, A/B testing, partnerships and more in order to drive customer acquisition, expansion and retention, throughout the customer lifecycle. You'll work cross-functionally, collaborating with Product, Paid Acquisition, Website, Channel Partner and Operations teams, to build best-in-class Monetization and Growth programs for Online Sales. 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead Online Sales's Marketing and Monetization roadmap in order to hit revenue growth targets, and $30M+ in bookings annually
  • Develop and execute Go-To-Market programs aimed at activating features and functionality throughout the Digital funnel and customer lifecycle, from acquisition to expansion and retention
  • Partner closely with Digital leadership team to build Monetization efforts across Website, Marketing Operations, Channel and Online Sales teams
  • Identify and execute referral and reseller strategy for the Online channel
  • Develop comprehensive email and in-app messaging strategy in order to acquire, expand and retain Online Sales customers
  • Own the promotional, overage and strategies and execution for Online Sales customers
  • Leverage key metrics and data analysis to test and iterate on programs across the entire customer lifecycle 
  • Partner with Box's sales team to enable them to leverage the Online channel in their accounts
  • Work with Analytics, Systems, Marketing Ops and Sales Ops teams to improve efficiency and data quality throughout operational aspect of Online Sales
  • Engage with leadership team on a regular basis for strategy, execution and market discussions
 
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years experience in Marketing, Growth or Product-related role
  • Strong customer focus and monetization mindset
  • Expertise working on email campaigns, website optimization, customer on-boarding, partner programs and with a track record of driving conversion
  • Strong background in quantitative analysis and the ability to properly set goals
  • Experience in leveraging analytics platforms to test, iterate, and optimize
  • Excellent organization and communications skills. MUST be highly collaborative
  • Natural leadership skills and ability to work across multiple teams and with members at different levels
  • BA/BS degree from a top tier university, MBA a plus
