Sr. Commercial Counsel - Partnerships

We’re looking for a high energy, hands-on individual with the people skills to work with leaders across the organization and be part of a high performing team.  This role will be focused on our strategic partnership with IBM, from both a product and go-to-market perspective, involving the structuring, drafting and negotiation of complex technology transactions, spanning integrations, in-bound licensing, channel sales and customer sales. This role will report into our Senior Director of Legal, Partnerships. A successful candidate must have the ability to operate effectively in a rapidly scaling, dynamic environment, be able to manage multiple stakeholders and groups simultaneously and have strong communications skills.

Who you are  
In order to be a successful member of the Legal team at Box, you will:
  • have 7+ years of relevant legal experience, with a mixture of in-house and law firm experience preferred
  • have an accredited law degree and a current license
  • be accustomed to working in a 'start-up' environment and helping a business grow
  • have experience with cloud business models, together with the related legal and technical issues
  • have experience with US and EU privacy laws
  • have experience with channel/distribution models and associated legal issues, including anti-trust
