Senior Sales Enablement Manager (Redwood City, CA)

The Senior Sales Enablement Manager will be in a critical leadership role within the Global Sales Enablement & Impact team at Box. The mission of this team is to increase sales impact through best-in-class enablement programs centered around accelerated onboarding, targeted knowledge & skill development, and dynamic customer engagement. That means ensuring that all sellers have the tools and skills to engage customers with an enterprise Cloud Content Management vision that challenges the status quo, differentiates Box, and drives pipeline and revenue.  

The Global Sales Enablement & Impact team reports into the Global Sales SVPs, and this role reports directly to the Director of Sales Enablement. This person will work closely with the sales leadership team, as well as significant interaction with all levels of customer facing teams, Sales Ops, and marketing organizations. The ideal candidate is a high energy, driven individual with experience in enterprise sales that has designed, developed, and delivered sales enablement programs. It requires being passionate about having a direct impact on the business through sales efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Own a key relationship between Enablement and the sales organization, building relationship with key stakeholders and understanding the ongoing needs of the segment
  • Develop and execute key change management efforts, such as sales methodology rollouts and the introduction of new products
  • Define and track the right metrics for success (and the right candidate knows what these are, or how to determine them!)
  • Drive consistency and efficiency of process and tools across all regional Commercial and Enterprise teams
  • Create original content to support the sales process in addition to working with other content creators and subject matter experts such as Product Marketing
  • Bridge from the Marketing organization and other content creators to the sales organization
  • Bridge from the Sales Operations and Marketing Operations organizations to the sales organization
  • Create and facilitate training programs as needed
  • Develop sales resources as needed, such as assets, videos, and playbooks
  • A critical eye to challenge the status quo

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Experience supporting a global organization
  • Proven track record of being highly motivated and self-directed
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and manage project priorities and timelines to achieve results
  • Experience rolling out sales methodologies, or other significant change management efforts
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Top notch presentation skills
  • Strong decision making ability
  • Must love cats. Just kidding. But you must have a decent sense of humor
  • Passion for excellence and high quality in the finished product; attention to detail is critical
  • Willingness to travel 1 – 2x per quarter
  • BS required
  • 5+ years supporting a direct B2B sales organization, whether in an enablement, training, or product marketing function
  • 2+ years of top notch people management experience
  • Based in our Redwood City, CA headquarters
