Sales Engineer, Enterprise Accounts (Chicago, IL, US)

We have grown at a record speed over the past few years and we are looking for a dynamic and ambitious Sales Engineer with Enterprise market experience to help us evangelize Box in the Midwest, based in Chicago.

As a Sales Engineer, you will be supporting the Enterprise Accounts-Central Sales Team in selling to business leaders in every space and vertical. You will be pulled into demos and discussions, and will work with RFPs and Security Audits. In addition, you will be a critical resource to drive product feedback to our Product Management, Platform and Engineering functions at Box. As a Sales Engineer for the Enterprise Team, you have exceptional knowledge of the security and API feature of Box, and are capable of communicating the details to potential prospects and existing clients. You will work alongside reps to nurture opportunities, and follow through to ensure the product is ready for cross company deployments. Responsibilities:

  • Join technically-oriented calls and conversations with prospects and clients, evangelize Box solutions
  • Spearhead RFP and Security Questionnaire completion
  • Collect, consult and submit product and engineering requests from Sales Team
  • Assist with and advise on integration implementations, including Salesforce, Google, Office365 and custom client integrations 
  • Rapidly learn Cloud Content Management, Enterprise security and the Box Platform/API
  • Lead prospect demos with Sales Reps and provide technical training from time to time
  • Support field marketing events as box SME and/or presenter
  • Ensure 100% satisfaction with all customers
  • Prioritize opportunities and operate as the technical quarterback for managing internal resources
  • Covering accounts in the Midwestern states

Qualifications:

  • 4-year technical degree preferred
  • Prior successful 5+ years of sales engineering experience, with a Software-as-a-Service and/or Enterprise Content Management focus
  • Must be a Box user with working knowledge of the integration and API features of Box, and be capable of communicating these details to potential prospects and existing clients
  • Address security concerns associated with SaaS solutions and cloud architecture
  • Passion for cloud technologies 
  • Obvious passion for your work and stellar people skills 
  • Strong presentation skills and strong team values
  • Consistent over-achievement in past experiences
  • Technically adept with web technologies and application development concepts
  • Adept at solution architecture conversations and whiteboard skills
