Sales Development Representative (Austin, TX)

Our Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) are the first point of contact for our customers. SDRs demonstrate high levels of professionalism and Box product knowledge. They are creative, passionate, and collaborative. Day to day responsibilities include qualifying inbound leads, routing them to Account Executives, and tracking various data points that will help optimize our sales efforts.
This role is for entry-level talent looking to launch their career in software sales. If you are naturally curious, a strong communicator, and have a knack for being quick on your feet, Box is the place for you to launch your sales career!     • Rapidly learn Collaboration, Content Management, Enterprise 2.0 and the Box model
    • Follow up on a high volume of new leads in a rapid manner
    • Establish rapport with all levels of buyers including senior executives
    • Understand a lead’s needs and effectively communicate how Box will meet them
    • Document various details including use case, lead scores, purchase timeframes, next steps
    • Prioritize opportunities and apply appropriate internal resources
    • Use SalesForce.com for lead management and sales forecasting
    • Ensure 100% satisfaction with all customers


    • Four year degree
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Prior successful sales or lead qualification experience is a plus but not necessary
    • Consistent measurable over-achievement in past experiences
