Corporate Channel Account Manager (West)

The Box Channel Sales team works in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, where innovative ideas and creative minds meet to drive significant market share through partner collaboration and field success. We are looking for experienced hands-on, sales-oriented, driven and organized Inside Channel Managers to execute on driving incremental revenue with Box’s channel partners. The ability to collaborate and facilitate channel activity with both Box as a company as well as with channel partners will be critical. This position will report to the Director of Channel Sales and be based out of our San Francisco office or our HQ in Redwood City.  

YOU WILL: 

  • Responsible for driving Channel Revenue in the Corporate Segment (sub 1,250 employees)
  • Develop territory and partner business plans to support revenue commitments
  • Build, drive and support partner sales opportunities and gain the support of Box resources as needed, in both pre-sales and post-sales activities, to ensure the success of your partners and customers
  • Facilitate, develop and manage sales enablement and training plans to ensure partners are equipped to position products/solutions and compete effectively to meet revenue objectives
  • Build strong relationships with the Box account executives to help them build sales engagement and teaming plans with Box channel partners
  • Accurately forecast partner revenue for the Corporate Segment
  • Manage & minimize channel / sales conflict
  • Collaborate with Marketing to drive the creation and utilization of sales collateral as well as demand generation programs and campaigns that drive partner revenue
  • Evangelize key partnerships with Box sales teams to ensure awareness and collaboration
  • Ability to understand customer requirements and identify potential Box solutions to fulfill these needs
  • Drive a scalable operational model with key resell partners and distribution (Ingram Micro)

 

EXPECTATIONS

  • Between 1 and 3 years of sales and channel experience
  • Quickly and thoroughly gain understanding of Enterprise Cloud Collaboration, Box Strategy, and the Box Channel Sales model
