Business Systems Analyst - Marketing Systems

Box is looking for a Business Analyst - Marketing Systems to join our Enterprise Systems team. In this role, you will be working with business leaders and collaborating with our Enterprise Systems team by utilizing your technical expertise and business insights.  You will also be working closely with our Marketing Operations team to plan, design and build optimal solutions for our backend office systems and applications. An ideal candidate will have exceptional analytical, communication, and problem solving skills and be comfortable interacting with all levels or organizations, including Executive Management.  
(S)He must also have interest in working on a range of different types of SaaS enterprise systems, business process improvements, and must have a background that demonstrates that capability.  The Business Analyst - Marketing Systems will interact frequently with senior management in this role and must become a trusted thought partner to her/his teams.
  • Partner with Marketing Operations to ensure enhancements and upgrades of Marketing systems run accurately and efficiently according to business requirements and prioritization
  • Assist with the planning, evaluation and implementation of functionality and features in Marketo and Salesforce systems
  • Keeps the lead flow highway efficiently moving between Marketo and Salesforce
  • Ownership for vetting end-user business requirements, solution specification design, configuration, project management, implementation, and system integration
  • Implement lead life cycle flow and make recommendations for enhancements or change based on Marketing systems roadmap
  • Effectively manage schedules and communicate changes as necessary to stakeholders
  • Ensure that system quality and program standards meet objectives and desired results are achieved
  • Work closely with business partners to define requirements and ensure that solutions deliver best-in-class results and business processes
  • Enhance data integrity through effective design, maintenance and security in Marketo and Salesforce
  • Manage ongoing list of activities and enhancements within individual projects and across initiatives
  • Assist in building operational flows in Marketo using Webhooks to other systems
  • 4-year degree from top-tier university with strong academic performance
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing and demand generation
  • Understanding of API integration with CRM, Marketing Automation platforms and Web properties
  • Functional expert on Marketo and Salesforce with a comprehensive understanding of the lead-cash lifecycle
  • Marketo Admin configuration and operational expertise
  • Salesforce Admin configuration expertise
  • Experience with Marketing Systems
  • 2-4 years of experience in a highly analytical systems role
  • Experience working in a systems implementation practice, management consulting firm, or high-growth environment is a plus
  • A successful track record of strong project management skills and high level of attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to work with partners of diverse backgrounds both in and outside of the organization
  • Passion for cloud technologies
