About The Role:
We are hiring for a Senior HR Business Partner to support our Farm Operations team. In this role, you will provide full-cycle HR support to our Farm that operates 365 days a year, 7 days a week. 

The HR Business Partner team is both a strategic and hands-on function that provides full-cycle People Operations support our entire organization. You’ll serve as the main point of contact to our Operations team and provide People Operations services, support, and counsel. You will partner with the People Team to drive our bold mission - to make Bowery the best place you'll ever work, by:

Treating people like people
Doing what we say we're going to do
Striking a balance between speed and scale
Designing solutions with the team, not for the team

What You'll Do:

  • Work regionally and partner with our Modern Farmers and Operations leaders to understand and solve challenges, remove barriers and boost team engagement  
  • Manage complex HRIS systems in support of payroll, benefits, leave management, and employee relations
  • Support onboarding and continuous development opportunities for our Modern Farmers and Farm Leadership team members
  • Partner with Finance and Operations leaders to maintain an organizational structure and hourly staffing levels to accomplish company goals and objectives through the labor planning process
  • Analyze and identify trends and find solutions that will lead to increased farmer engagement and retention
  • Maintain compliance and understanding with federal and state regulations concerning employment practices
  • Conduct internal investigations in response to employee concerns and drive to appropriate resolution
  • Support overall People team and our company goals 

Who You Are:

  • You are an HR professional with experience as an HRBP/Generalist
  • You have experience supporting large groups of regionally-based hourly employees and are comfortable handling complex employee relations concerns
  • You are a leader with a knack for improving scalable processes and procedures and helping us to develop a new way to deal with existing issues
  • You are a poised multi-tasker comfortable in a fast-paced environment with overlapping deadlines
  • You are a data-driven and analytical thinker who can leverage metrics, identify trends, and action plan
  • You are someone who exudes warmth and passion and have a natural ability to build and manage strong relationships quickly
  • You have a strong understanding of employment laws and their impact
  • You have experience working in a call center, distribution center, or manufacturing environment supporting 200+ hourly employees
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • You’re flexible and able to travel - our farms operate 365 days a year, 7 days a week.  Expected travel is 25%
  • SPHR or PHR certification preferred
