Training & Development Manager

As a Training & Development Manager, you will have a direct impact on the efficiency and effectiveness of the largest team at BounceX. You will own the training and development program for the Customer Success team both strategically and operationally and will be responsible for all aspects of new hire and ongoing training and development.

The Customer Success team is high performing, with a lot of energy and a strong desire to learn. This is the first role of its kind, so there will be a huge opportunity to take ownership over the current program and bring both our employee development and the team as a whole to the next level.

The ideal candidate is organized, results-driven, and has demonstrated professional success in the field of training. He or she is adept at explaining complex concepts to others, would take immediate personal ownership over the role, and would thrive in the fast-paced environment of one of the fastest growing software companies in the world.


  • Own the new hire training curriculum. Work with other team members to ensure that the trainings they lead are effective and up to date.

  • Maintain the calendar for ongoing trainings and coordinate with each week’s speakers to ensure a smooth meeting.

  • Generate and maintain developmental materials for managers to use with their teams.

  • Prepare instructional templates for others to use while conducting trainings.

  • Deliver certain new hire and ongoing trainings.

  • Work with other departments to ensure that any reference materials are kept up to date, and that any new information is properly communicated to the Customer Success team.

  • Work with the Product and Sales teams to ensure that the Customer Success team is well versed on functionality and aligned on messaging for all new products and features.

  • Actively assess the effectiveness of the training program and continue to improve it over time.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • 2+ years of demonstrated success in a professional training, education, or staff development role.

  • Experience developing, executing, and conducting data-focused analyses of trainings.

  • Knowledgeable in adult learning theory, ideally with experience educating others on this


  • Skilled in utilizing various training methods and matching the correct method to the specific need.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable presenting in front of 50+ people.

  • Elite EQ and ability to tactfully influence and coach others.

  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.

  • Ability to pick up and understand new material quickly and comprehensively.

  • Proactive and energetic attitude with the desire to be a key player on a results-oriented team.

  • Experience working in the tech industry, and specifically at a SaaS company is a plus.
