Sales Engineer

 As a Sales Engineer, you’ll be the first hire in this brand new role, assisting the Sales team in determining potential client needs across BounceX products and offerings. You’ll use your technical knowledge and sales ingenuity to answer questions regarding capabilities and feasibilities of certain features, communicating integration needs to ensure a seamless and effective closing and onboarding process. You’ll be an integral member of the team, helping to bridge the gap between between clients and our product offerings, communicating the effectiveness of BounceX across different industries and verticals.


  • Join calls and attend meetings, answering technical questions during the sales process relating to integration
  • Conduct technical audits for prospects in the buying stage; analyze what integration will look like across different websites
  • Provide solutions to internal questions regarding capabilities and feasibilities of certain features on a site
  • Communicate with the onboarding team to ensure a seamless integration with best practices
  • Answer ad hoc internal questions of features, explaining what can and cannot be done on a certain site


  • 2-4 years of experience in a similar role
  • Broad understanding of enterprise web technologies and architectures, including client-side web technologies (JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS), server-side scripting languages and relational databases
  • Personable, charismatic, and a go-getter
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
