As a Principal Energy Supply, you will work directly with our clients and Boston Consulting Group colleagues on projects to unlock value from electricity and gas sales, customer solutions and energy networks and build new or improved distribution and network solutions that address modernization and digitization needs. You will develop new solutions for end customers, use data and digital platforms to develop solutions to open up new revenue streams for our customers. You will be responsible for the continuous development of our offering, building a team of internal and customer-oriented IT experts in energy supply companies, building a network with new partners and expanding our existing offering with comprehensive technical and solution expertise.

Shape the world of tomorrow

Technical support for our customers from the energy industry with a particular focus on energy sales, grids and customer solutions; from requirements analysis and definition of the target architecture through to implementation
Support in translating business concepts into solution designs for implementation teams (e.g. detailing use cases, capability mapping, requirements engineering, process design, data domains and flow analyses)
Definition and design of self-developed and commercial-off-the-shelf solutions for customer service, sales and energy networks, including CRM, billing, pricing, forecasting, planning and logistics solutions as well as digital data platforms and tools for the analysis and use of energy data
Advancing our clients' digital agenda to develop novel capabilities and future-proof their data and system landscapes
Managing large transformation programs by steering the implementation activities and guiding the delivery teams (e.g. business analysts, developers)
Improving delivery quality by developing and sharing methodological skills
Developing best practices for delivery teams in the utility industry based on deep solution expertise and extensive utility experience
Further develop our energy platforms, technical capabilities and service offerings in energy supply to create new opportunities for our energy customers globally
Build and lead a team of energy supply experts who work directly with our customers but also develop prototypes in their own environments

This is how you can make a difference

You have completed an above-average degree in (business) informatics, business administration, energy engineering or a related course of study
You have at least eight years of experience in the context of energy suppliers, software development and management of implementation projects in the energy sales, energy grid or energy IT industry
You have very good leadership experience of larger teams of business analysts or developers across multiple (sub)projects and workstreams
You have theoretical and practical experience in the design, implementation and configuration of industry-standard energy supply software (e.g. SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Powercloud)
You have excellent analytical and conceptual skills, the drive to always achieve high-quality results and enjoy working with high-performing teams
You are ready to take your communication and presentation skills to the next level to align teams and organizations around common goals and present our concepts and projects to IT stakeholders and business partners
An active network with energy companies, system houses and/or system integrators is an advantage
You communicate confidently in written and spoken German and English
