As part of an agile team, you'll be responsible for the global Wireless and office network infrastructure including:
- Wireless network design and technology selection, non-stop operations, capacity & performance management;
- Interface regularly and work closely with other members of the network and IT support teams;
- Administer, maintain and support the availability, security and performance of the network, specifically the WI-FI infrastructure;
- Support the proper functioning of the network infrastructure through strong knowledge of switching, routing, and TCP/IP;
- Suggest creative solutions to develop the business critical networks & systems, provide more reliable and effective support as the business grows;
- Recommend and implement network management systems (monitoring, provisioning and automation);
- Partner with Product Owners to get a better understanding of the business requirements, proactively identify problems and take ownership for evaluating new solutions, and deploying them in production;
- Contribute to Booking.com's growth through interviewing, on-boarding, or other recruitment efforts.

- Experience with architecture, design, deployment and maintenance of large enterprise wireless networks or service provider wireless networks;
- Experience with multi controller, multi SSID, multi location, 500+ APs networks ;
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of IEEE 802.11 standards together with WiFi industry concepts, problems and solutions;
- Strong knowledge of enterprise wireless components: network infrastructure, AAA servers, central management systems and monitoring systems;
- Solid understanding of IEEE 802.11 networks security, firewalls, IPSec, IDS/IPS, application firewalls;
- Solid understanding of routing and switching protocols;
- Python programming and automation experience;
- Working experience with Aruba Networks products: AOS, AirWave and ClearPass;
- At least one professional level Wireless certification (CWDP, CWAP, CWSP, CCNP Wireless, Aruba CMP/CDX);
- Juniper skills and/or certifications are a plus;
- Experience with Linux based systems is a plus;
- Experience working in geographically distributed organisation is beneficial.
