Key Account Manager Business Travel (Enterprise focus)

As a Key Account Manager Business Travel – Nordics you provide support to Booking.com BV by informing new business customers about the services it offers, and at the same time you will also support Booking.com BV in managing and maintaining its existing relationship with corporate enterprise clients. You have a sixth sense for a great customer experience and you always keep your eye on the end-user.

Main responsibilities:

  • First point of contact for corporate enterprise clients
  • Promote Booking.com BV’s brand name and its online reservation services to potential corporate enterprise clients;
  • Support Booking.com BV in building and maintaining a professional network within the B2B travel space;
  • Monitor research and report findings on market developments in the travel industry.
  • Support Booking.com BV in managing all processes that lead to setting up a partnership (i.e. leads, prospecting, establishing first contact, meetings, integration and follow up);
  • Partner with corporate enterprise clients regarding integration and technology of its travel tooling
  • Answering RFP’s (Request for Proposal) documents submitted by corporate enterprise clients
  • Co-create with internal departments including customer testimonials and relevant content pieces
  • Assist Booking.com BV by managing its corporate enterprise clients by building deep relationship with the relevant stakeholders by managing all aspects of partner interaction.
  • Work with internal support department and corporate enterprise client on long-term goals and new initiatives to support Booking.com BV in maximizing growth and meeting customer needs. Set up internal growth strategy plan.
  • Support Booking.com BV in monitoring the success of each account and managing client relationships by advising on Booking.com BV products and services.
  • Liaise with corporate enterprise clients and internal support departments to solve ongoing issues.
  • Aggregating and analyzing feedback to support future product initiatives.
  • Leverage existing customers relationships to build a network of product ambassadors for Booking.com BV’s business travel products & services
  • Work closely with internal cross-functional stakeholders across Customer Experience, Marketing, Product, and Analytics. Provide local perspective on preferred approach.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve the customer experience and improve operational efficiency.
  • Provide training to potential and existing clients.
  • Present at industry events.

  • Establish an understanding of the business objectives of these enterprises and match these with the range of services of Booking.com BV to create and support Booking.com BV in maximizing new business opportunities;
  • Support Booking.com in managing all processes leading up to finalizing Business Bookers department deals (i.e. leads, prospecting, establishing first contact, meetings, integration and follow up);
  • Support Booking.com BV in building and maintaining a professional network within the B2B travel space;
  • Monitor research and report findings on market developments in the travel industry.

  • Support Booking.com BV in maintaining and developing successful B2B partnerships with large corporations and managing the aspects of partner interactions.
  • Support Booking.com BV in monitoring the success of each account and managing client relationships by advising on Booking.com products and services.
  • Conduct regular meetings and act as a consultant for enterprises.

Key requirements/background:

  • 5+ years relevant business development, account management, business travel experience;
  • Extensive network in business travel;
  • Proven track record / experience with different channels;
  • Understanding of customer development processes;
  • Highly flexible and self-motivated
  • Traveling +50%.
