About the role
We are looking for a highly motivated Group Product Manager who thrives in a fast paced and collaborative environment. Here at BookingGo we aim to delight and engage our users constantly with a great experience that keeps them coming back for more. To help innovate our mobile app offering that plays a pivotal role in our customer experience enhancement strategy aimed at helping our customers gain and experience more in each of their interaction with us, we are looking for an experienced product leader with extensive mobile app experience.
In this role as Group Product Manager, Apps & Engagement, using data and customer feedback, you will derive an understanding of the nuanced customer needs across various steps in the car hire journey and will use this to build value offerings and in app features that help our customers save time, money and experience more in each of their interaction with us.
In this role, you own the strategy and execution of all the key areas that are essential to connect the dots and offer a very relevant and contextual customer experience across all car hire touch points and BookingGo interaction channels. You will own the areas of customer identity, personalisation, engagement/customer advocacy channels and loyalty offerings in this role. You will lead product teams for apps and engagement with very passionate product owners. You will own our high-level strategy for our future expansion into new native app channels like voice, chat bots and digital assistants.

To successfully deliver change in a fast-paced working environment you will need to:
Develop a deep understanding of the current and future customer needs across all areas of the business - and how those needs interact with your product portfolio
Deeply understand user needs around post purchase touchpoints through focus groups, field research, dog fooding and data/analytics
Work with the leadership team and other senior stakeholders to define the overall strategy and direction for your product portfolio
Build, lead and coach a team of Product Managers
Develop right mind-set and pace with the team to fail fast, learn and iterate in scale.
Work with senior architects, heads of development, delivery and operations to design and deliver products and services to delight our customers
Be accountable for the end-to-end delivery of products within your portfolio
Work with product teams, coaches and engineering to drive continuous efficiency improvements
Communicate with key stakeholders to keep them up to date and bought into the product development process
Have 5+ years' experience as a senior product manager / Head of Product/ Product Director
Experience working on transactional & successful, user-focused products in B2C space
Strong experience working on native mobile apps (iOS and Android) and driving strategy of consumer apps used by million+ users
Have experience in app promotion and ASO
Understand what an exceptional user experience entails and how to deliver it whilst balancing against other competing priorities
Be commercially aware and have a strategic mind, able to identify business opportunities and deliver against them
Be able to define and communicate product vision or strategy to others
Have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate with the business at all levels
Be a highly motivated self-starter with a flexible, can-do attitude
Experience in driving loyalty and customer engagement programs
Experience in building and driving API and web service programs
Domain experience in travel ecommerce.
