Account Manager Business Travel – Western Region

As an Account Manager for Business Travel, you provide support to BV by informing new business customers about the services offered by BV, at the same time you will also support BV in managing and maintaining its existing relationship with high potential clients. Successful candidates will have a strong background in corporate travel or SaaS industry or have extensive experience developing B2B relationships in order to support BV in initiating, growing and optimizing corporate relationships.

Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Support BV in identifying local market B2B opportunities for all business travel related products and services;
  • First point of contact for small and medium business (SME) clients;
  • Build and further improve relationships with new and existing SME clients by actively approaching your contacts;
  • Promote BV's brand name and its online reservation services to potential SME clients;
  • Support BV in bringing the product closer to its business customers; from initial sign-up, to onboarding and finally making for Business their preferred choice;
  • Proactively identify and follow up on opportunities to improve the customer experience and improve operational efficiency;
  • Aggregate, analyze and communicate feedback from the markets to support future product initiatives from product developers
  • Support centralized marketing campaigns in executing operational activities with a local approach to promote's brand and products
  • Draft and deliver presentations that are in line with the overall messaging to internal and external customers
  • Liaise with other teams within Business Bookers department in the US and Amsterdam including the Enterprise, TMC and OBE teams;
  • Represent at industry events and trade shows.


  • 2+ years relevant business development and/or account management experience in the corporate travel segment;
  • Bachelor's degree preferred;
  • Online travel industry knowledge preferred;
  • Proven track record of managing contract processes with SME customers;
  • Successful track-record of managing a pipeline of SME opportunities from origination to closure
  • You understand the dynamics of the business travel industry, particularly hotels or e-commerce activities
  • You are tech savvy and able to use excel, PowerPoint and any other technology to help you manage opportunities
  • You are reliable and results oriented
  • You're analytical and thrive in a data-driven, commercial environment
  • You are able to travel 50% of the time, occasionally internationally
  • Valid license for driving in the United States
