We're seeking a future team member for the role of Lead Full-Stack Developer to join our Asset Servicing Engineering team. This role is in Pune, Maharashtra / Chennai, Tamil Nadu - HYBRID.
Role Overview:
The Corporate Treasury Engineering team supports the front to back management and operation of BNY Mellon's fixed income, derivatives, securities finance, and investment portfolio, which comprise a significant portion of the firm's overall balance sheet. There are several in-house applications to manage straight through processing, regulatory and management reporting, and other critical functions and workflows. The desired candidate will work as a full stack developer with design/architecture mindset.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Conduct tasks related to feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, applications development, and establish and implement new or revised applications systems to meet specific business needs or user areas
- Utilize in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems/issues, provide evaluation of business process, system processes
- Recommend and develop security measures in post implementation analysis of business usage to ensure successful system design and functionality
- Consult with users/clients and other technology groups on issues, recommend advanced programming solutions, and install and assist customer exposure systems
- Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes
- Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts
- Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications
- 3+ years' experience in financial services
- 2+ Years of Experience in Expert knowledge in ETL(Xceptor) and Workflow tools to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software
- Application development skills as well as knowledge of multiple design techniques
- Proven capability of developing and using Xceptor and other automation technologies.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies with ability to work in at least one of the common frameworks
- Understanding of techniques such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test Driven Development, application resiliency and security
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
