We're seeking a future team member in the role of Senior Specialist, Business Analyst Management to join our AML Due Diligence Team. This role is located in Lake Mary, FL or Pittsburgh, PA and follows the Hybrid work arrangement (3 days in office) .
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Deliver quality systems and processes and take ownership of issues, make decisions and guide stakeholders on their adoption journey. Escalate appropriately
- Gather and analyze information to assist in the development of recommendations to address business objectives that span multiple business and technology areas
- Work with business and technology teams to implement technology roadmap strategy
- Analyze, define, and prioritize regulatory business requirements and functional or operational specifications for moderate to large projects of increasing complexity
- Provide technical consultation concerning business implications of application development projects.
- Support testing of new or enhanced applications and/or systems and provide guidance to junior team members on case development, requirement traceability analysis, test preparation, script writing, and functional test execution.
- Use broad knowledge of regulatory (AML, KYC), legal requirements and BNY Mellon corporate policies involving risk and control to support the development of improved business processes through technology
- Make data-based decisions and understand the importance of data integrity within financial institutions
- Bachelors' degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field is required
- 7-10 years of total work experience preferred. KYC/AML experience desired
- Business and Functional requirement writing experience is needed
- Experienced in Agile methodologies and Jira story writing
- Experience in Waterfall and Agile methodologies, including use of Jira preferred
