We're seeking a future team member in the role of Cloud Network Operations Engineer to join our Global Cloud Network Operations team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA-HYBRID.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
  • The individual in this role will provide fast and efficient support for network related issues in the Data and Analytics infrastructure.
  • L2L VPN troubleshooting, application performance and firewall management skills are essential for this position.
  • Provide support and manage the bank network infrastructure components such as router, switches, wireless, firewalls, web proxies, load-balancers and DNS.
  • Resolve network faults and failures. Apply changes to improve overall network stability and performance.
  • Work with customers to resolve VPN connectivity issues and application performance issues.
  • Maximize the use of toolsets to identify underlying networks issues and performance problems on the corporate network infrastructure.
  • Work with Vendors on support cases and escalations.
  • Provide off hours support to resolve emergency incidents.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
  • Extensive hands-on network implementation and troubleshooting experience.
  • Solid understanding with routing protocols and switching technologies across multiple network platforms.
  • Building and troubleshooting L2L IPsec VPN Tunnels.
  • Cisco ASA Firewall administration (multi context mode with Firepower)
  • Cisco CCNP or equivalent knowledge.
  • Operations experience in the financial sector domain (Preferred).
  • Broad understanding of industry technology standards (Preferred).
  • Willingness to learn new technologies (Preferred).

As part of TSG, the TSG Production Services team
  • Maintains a secure and stable production environment for the Bank and Clients around the globe (including Database Network, Messaging, Voice and Video technology.)
  • Monitors the Cyber Technology Operations Center (CTOC) 24x7x365 for real-time observation of the technology estate.
Team Description:

The team is responsible for all network support escalations and life-cycle management for the bank.

Role Description

The Collaboration Network Support Engineer is primarily responsible for utilizing available network toolset resources to maintain and fine-tune network infrastructure to improve end user experiences such as Teams, WebEx, Webcasting and various collaboration applications. Additionally, manage BAU operations such as incidents and change requests.

Key Responsibilities

• 5-7 years of experience.

• Provide support and manage the bank network infrastructure components such as router, switches, wireless, firewalls, web proxies, load-balancers and DNS.

• Maximize the use of toolsets to identify underlying networks issues and performance problems on the corporate network infrastructure.

• Resolve network faults and failures. Apply changes to improve overall network performance for better end user experience.

• Act as point of contact for internal and external stakeholders for any techincal type of queries.

Required Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on network implementation and troubleshooting experience.

• Hands-on experience with network monitoring, diagnostic and analytics tools.

• Solid understanding with routing protocols and switching technologies across multiple network platforms.

• Good understanding with QoS, end-to-end performance and fine tuning.

• Cisco CCNP or equivalent knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications

• Operations experience in the financial sector domain.

• Broad understanding of industry technology standards.

• Willingness to learn new technologies
