We're seeking a future team member for the role of Lead Analyst, Control to join our Global Custody Operations team. This role is located in Pune, MH - HYBRID
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Working with a collaborative global team to achieve goals and targets.
- The successful applicant will work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
- The teams work with several dynamic tools and systems to assist in the monitoring and resolution of tasks and use up to date technology to collaborate with internal colleagues.
- Supervises and provides support for regulatory and resiliency activities for a global operational team.
- Identify, analyse, monitor and minimise most complex areas of control testing, control and risk education, and operational and risk support activities to the business and manage projects to adjust or create controls required to meet regulatory and corporate expectations.
- •Leads projects/analyses and may assign work to other team members.
- •Operating with a high degree of independence, conducts analyses and leads projects to improve internal controls that keep up with regulations and corporate standards.
- •Ensures that existing control and business recovery practices and procedures are documented.
- •Works with the business to understand the controls currently in place to minimize risk.
- •May help design and deliver risk management training programs to ensure that proper control procedures are understood and followed.
- •Reviews documentation for evidence of successful and efficient performance of control and business recovery procedures.
- •Identifies deficiencies in data systems and creates processes to improve defenses.
- •Assists in analyzing technology and market trends to determine potential resulting risks to the organization and how to address risks across businesses.
- •May supervise the work of junior control professionals.
- •Supports multiple, complex projects and owns project timelines.
- •Provides input into the development of controls and protocols for the function.
- •Minimum 5- 7 years Operations, Control or related financial markets/securities industry experience.
- •Specifically: experience in resiliency activities very desirable
- •Solid understanding of the product(s) administered by the group and thorough understanding of risk management and control practices.
- •Ability to quickly address issues - strong decision making
- •Strong Financial Services Technical Skills
- •Effective interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- •Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- •Proficiency in using Microsoft packages particularly Excel
