We're seeking a future team member in the role of Head of Electronic Communications and Collaboration Engineering (Workplace Technology) to join our Workplace Technology team. This role is preferred to be located in Lake Mary or Pittsburgh (hybrid).

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
  • Be responsible for designing the underlying, architecture and strategic deployment of a highly dynamic E-Comms and Collab environment centered on Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive), plus a wide variety of additional and supporting tools including Confluence, Jive, Tessian, and ProofPoint.
  • Lead the design, development and implementation of the global estate for these tools for the whole Bank.
  • Engage and lead a team in designing and implementing Global email, Communications and Collaboration using Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft Teams and related products
  • It's a dynamic and fast-moving role requiring strong experience of these tools and services, strong team leadership, and a strong sense of strategy and execution.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
  • Proven track record in managing large teams including managers and SME's
  • 12+ years of experience designing, managing and engineering experience to support Microsoft environments including Microsoft Exchange, instant messaging, SharePoint and other collaboration platforms.
  • 3+ years of experience designing, managing and engineering to support Microsoft Office365 Exchange Online and Teams and Microsoft Graph, SharePoint and email malware protections
  • 3+ years of experience planning and running infrastructure development as a technical lead using Agile techniques (or equivalent)
  • Executive level gravitas and personality to lead strategy and engineering for BNY Mellon's Email/instant messaging, Collaboration and Control technologies including Email retention, secure email and DLP
  • Ability to express an intelligent and thoughtful position on all topics of strategy in relation to End User (not just Email, collab or control tech), and to participate in a senior leadership team of peers covering Mobile, desktop platform, Real-Time Collaboration, Deployments, Audit, Risk and Real Estate Planning.
