We are seeking an energetic self-starter to assume the role of Counsel in our global Treasury Services legal team supporting the global Treasury Services business (with primary focus on Payments and Liquidity Services). This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA - working on a hybrid schedule.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
  • D ocument and negotiate global banking agreement terms with Treasury Services clients, working closely with the contract management team supporting Payments and Liquidity Services
  • Advise on all aspects of payments and liquidity services transactions, products, programs, platforms, processes and related matters
  • Frequently interact with senior management and relevant business stakeholders
  • Partner with control functions serving in an advisory or oversight capacity, such as Risk, Audit and Compliance
  • Manage outside counsel and advise on business, regulatory and legal developments
  • Collaborate with the Treasury Services Trade Finance Legal Team
  • Negotiate servicing outsourcing contracts
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and a member of the Pennsylvania or New York Bar.
  • 3+ years' experience negotiating agreements governing financial transactions (preferably representing major financial institutions)
  • Ability to handle a diverse and demanding workload
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, drafting and communications skills
  • Ability to function independently, but also to function as part of effective teams
  • Cross-border transactional experience and experience with digital assets/payment platforms a plus
  • Some familiarity with (i) Regulations CC, E, and J, (ii) UCC 3, 4 and 4A and NACHA Rules a plus
