Managing Director (Australia)

We're experiencing tremendous growth around the globe and are now sourcing a charismatic Managing Director of our Australia/New Zealand practice.

Critical qualifications for this Managing Director role include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business (or related field), MBA preferred
  • Prior experience utilizing Salesforce
  • Minimum of 10 years selling experience in a Software/SaaS/Services environment
  • Prior responsibility running team with greater than $10M+ in revenue
  • Ability to demonstrate prior sales/customer relationship successes in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Exceptional reasoning & problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience with Channel Management
  • Strong experience in presenting, advising and selling to C-level Executives

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Business Development/Sales:
  • Generate new accounts, nurture existing accounts and drive activity within the team to meet quota expectations
  • Leverage relevant partner relationships to develop opportunities
  • Leverage and navigate internal IBM channel relationships to develop opportunities
  • Sponsor/strategize on large deals as well as support team on deal and/or Account Strategy
  • Manage book of business through Salesforce using support tools to track pipeline, account, and opportunity information
  • Negotiate and execute relevant contractual agreements in complex procurement environments
  • Services Thought Leadership/Expert:
  • Lead executive solution sessions with clear understanding of client objective
  • Serve as a technology leader within Bluewolf Services providing advice to prospects, clients
  • Leading Services by providing best practice, advice, and coaching to Consulting organization
  • Cultivate strong relationships with top level industry professionals and develop a strong reputation as a SI Market leader for ANZ
  • Act as a steward for the organization, representing Bluewolf ANZ at Industry events/speaking engagements and in PR opportunities
  • Collaborate with various practice leaders on go to market strategies and sales or delivery cycles
  • Trusted advisor and Executive Sponsor in strategic accounts
  • Leadership:
  • As the ANZ Managing Director, you will lead a cross functional team across all disciplines of the business including Sales, Service, Marketing, Operations, Alliances, etc. with support from Corporate/Global Bluewolf
  • Responsible for ANZ P&L, revenue targets/growth plans, and KPIs
  • Provide accurate forecasting and communicate strategic plans with geo colleagues and Executive leadership
  • Local ANZ leader and also a key contributor for Bluewolf globally
  • Attract and develop high performing teams across multiple disciplines and practices
  • Build out new/emerging practices as business grows/evolves
  • Ability to build out internal business cases
  • Bluewolf brand ambassador
