User Acquisition Specialist (Mobile)

Blizzard Entertainment is seeking a Mobile Acquisition Specialist who will focus on media acquisition actions to drive customer acquisition for Blizzard games. The role will manage efficient mobile performances campaigns with the help of a buying agency, will be the point of reference for all Mobile performance subject and will be involved in UA infrastructure, tools and scope.


This role offers a bridge with Desktop/programmatic performance, that will be leveraged with the help of the direct manager




Campaign Management

  • Manage and optimize acquisition campaigns with the support of the media buying agency, striving to consistently refine tactics and produce exceptional results for our franchises
  • Effectively and efficiently lead performance-based mobile marketing efforts to reach acquisition goals
  • Develop and execute test & learn programs to improve campaign performance, user conversion, retention, and monetization
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and refine targeting & optimization strategies
  • Develop mobile paid acquisition plans and provide regular reporting on progress towards key milestones and risks
  • The mobile acquisition specialist will also be looking at programmatic desktop buying – this expertise will be leverage with the help of his/her direct manager

Innovation (Tools & Partners)

  • Conduct partner and campaign analysis to determine value of acquisition efforts and optimizations
  • Manage deals and relationship with mobile partners on a day to day basis
  • Work together with the direct manager on driving forward topics such as Ad fraud, Reengagement, Attribution, Mobile Creative practices

Mobile “evangelism”

  • Spread the word internally about mobile acquisition, results and best practices
  • Be the main PoC internally for all subjects related to mobile acquisition and best practices
  • Help build long term Mobile acquisition strategies





  • Marketing experience ideally in mobile gaming or pure player company
  • Fluent in English
  • Degree in advertising, marketing, or communications
  • A minimum of 2 years experience advertiser side or in a media agency


  • Strong media and technology knowledge on mobile games and mobile UA including tech. problematic (mobile analytics platforms, mobile app tracking) and post-install data
  • Experience in media campaign management in an international environment
  • Experience in working with UA tools for attribution, tracking and cost data aggregation (e.g. Appsflyer, Tune, Singular)


  • Strong aptitude for numerical detail and analysis
  • Strong business writing skills and ability to produce high-quality documents
  • Structured and methodical way of working, with the ability to cope with competing demands and effectively prioritize tasks
  • Strong interpersonal skills, specifically listening, consulting, and influencing
  • Team player, self-motivated, creative, problem solving skills
