We've been waiting for you, our Atlassian Administrator.  You'll be one of the go-to people for all things Jira and Confluence related, assisting in everything from crafting our vision for these applications to the detailed execution. We'll rely on you to help maintain our Confluence and Jira instances so we can keep creating world-class games. You'll collaborate with employees from a wide array of disciplines across the organization to improve efficiency, share best practices, and optimize the tools.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an administrator of the Atlassian toolset
  • Assist in maintaining the roadmap for the product, including architecture, technology, and functional usage
  • Maintain and improve tools and assorted add-ons
  • Support cross-functional teams to design and help implement solutions consistent with industry best practices
  • Provide support and advanced troubleshooting for thousands of Blizzard employees globally 
  • Manage user permissions per the needs of spaces and teams
  • Evaluate, test, and implement new versions and add-ons
  • Standardize and consolidate application solutions and processes across the organization
  • Assist in maintaining a high-level SLA while managing requests of varying complexities and due dates
  • Help define best practices across the company

 Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge of administering Atlassian applications in a large, multi-methodology organization
  • Experience managing Atlassian Server software
  • Working experience with multiple Atlassian tools, such as JIRA, FishEye, HipChat, etc
  • Experience in troubleshooting Confluence issues and performing installations, migrations, and add-on installation
  • Excellent communication (verbal & written) and partnering skills with both technical & non-technical users
  • Ability to prioritize across various tasks, manage changes in daily workload, and operate under several simultaneous deadlines
  • Desire to work in a diverse environment interacting with many roles and teams made up of passionate industry experts working towards a common goal
  • Familiar with HTML and CSS

 Pluses

  • Integration experience with other Atlassian applications (JIRA, FishEye, etc)
  • Atlassian certification
  • Familiar with CQL, JavaScript, Python, and Java
