Associate Localization Engineer

Blizzard Entertainment is looking for a talented localization engineer to ensure qualified translation and cultural transition of a variety of game assets. Profound knowledge of Blizzard games, outstanding translation skills, multiple-task processing ability, and capacity to effectively communicate in English are required for the position.



  • Deliver qualified translation to complete the tasks assigned by team leads, including texts and images in the games and scripts for different kinds of audio visual contents
  • Review and polish the contents localized by team members, providing constructive suggestion to improve localization quality
  • Review and fine-tune the vendor translated texts by verifying the integrity of the texts related to the game products
  • Actively cooperate with the developers on the issues such as local-specific requirements, cultural feedbacks and wishes



  • Working experience in localization industry with outstanding translation skill, especially in English to Chinese
  • Native level Simplified Chinese language skills, prosing and versing with style
  • Drive to improve quality and efficiency through creative, practical, and collaborative solutions
  • Able to find possible approaches to optimize work flow
  • Able to teamwork in a proactive and positive manner to achieve shared objectives
  • Buoyant to pressure and confident
  • Experience with Blizzard Entertainment games



  • Experience working in multicultural environments
