Job Description:

Global Custom Commerce, Inc. (d/b/a Blinds.com), a Home Depot company, is hiring Sr. Developers – Customer Experience to develop and/or execute software testing and validation procedures, programming and documentation. Work independently on front-end development and coding standards for assigned departments and projects, and analyze, design and test user interfaces and complex system components. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create secure, reliable, scalable software solutions. Partner with User Experience (UX) Designers to build a component and template library with advanced interactions. Utilize technical expertise to resolve complex issues requiring advanced evaluation of variable factors including establishing front-end/user interfaces layer coding standards. Design and/or configure software to optimize operational efficiency and align with business needs. Exercise independent judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. In connection with the duties above, utilize experience in the following technologies and skills: mobile responsive website design, development, and optimization; online testing software; a version control system that is used for software development and other version control tasks; working in an Agile/Scrum development environment; coding and troubleshooting for all major browsers; rapid working prototypes.
