The SMA Operations team is responsible for the onboarding and maintenance of all accounts in the retail channel. Accounts can be onboarded in any of the 25+ sponsor platforms. The 38,000+ account population is over 80 billion in AUM.
BlackRock is seeking a New Accounts Analyst for the separately managed accounts team. The SMA New Accounts Team is responsible for the accurate and timely release of client accounts, received through BlackRock's retail channel. The ideal candidate will be able to multi-task; dividing their time between new accounts, terminations, account maintenance items and client service. He/she will be familiar with the concepts of both equity and fixed income markets, along with all investment classes.
The Onboarding Analyst is responsible for the onboarding of new accounts from the BlackRock Private Investors and USPC channels. This requires reviewing new accounts for client information, management and restriction data, and billing details. Accounts must be accurately processed and released for trading within a designated timeframe. The role also includes ongoing maintenance of the existing accounts to reflect client or account level changes. It also includes reviewing and approving client contracts for PI management.
Effectively communicate across all business groups to resolve issues.
Ablilty to understand and interpret the differences in the various BlackRock PI and BlackRock USWA products.
Abillity to successfully manage time between day to day responsibilities and project involvement.
Experience:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Access & Internet Explorer)
- Aladdin, Fiserv APL, or Revport experience a plus
- General knowledge of financial markets, investment classes, and business operations
- Excellent research and analytical skills
- Detail oriented & team player
- Multi-tasking skills a must
- Willing to work overtime when required
- Undergraduate degree required
The ideal candidate can work well individually and in a team. He/She has a strong attention to detail and can switch easily between different tasks during the day. He/She is forward thinking and exhibits problem solving skills.
