About this role

The Client Experience Platform team is leading a transformation at BlackRock to digitize and modernize the employee and client experience. We are looking for someone who is dynamic, creative, and with great interpersonal skills to lead our product marketing initiatives as part of this platform. The ideal candidate will have past experience launching new applications, products or services with both internal and external end-users as well as a proven track record of driving adoption. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative partner to internal stakeholders to develop content and messaging to drive adoption, as well as comfortable delivering content to large and executive audiences as part of the communications & adoption plans developed by the Product Marketing Lead. Success in this role requires an understanding of our end-users and an understanding of the experiences we are building as part of Client Experience Platform and the ability to connect the two in a way that resonates with the end-user to drive adoption.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with product managers to build impactful, repeatable go-to-market processes for when and how product changes and launches are communicated to the market and internal teams
  • Drive and coordinate Client Experience Platform launch calendars, ensuring alignment with the product roadmap
  • Develop and execute a communication strategy to support product launches and ongoing adoption
  • Develop and own external-facing product marketing collateral & content (one-pagers, user stories, positioning statements)
  • Develop and deliver internal & external training guides and training sessions to drive adoption
  • Ability to develop an understanding of our client & colleague needs in order to develop tailored product marketing & communication plans to drive adoption
  • Understand the competitive landscape, serving as an expert on our competition and how their comparable products are positioned
  • Creative thinker that can generate innovative marketing ideas and influence team of cross-functional partners
  • Deeply understand our digital products and translate that knowledge into impactful internal tools and collateral for client-facing teams
  • Support the creation of outstanding product demos with meaningful demo journeys to be used by our client-facing teams
  • Analyze product campaign & adoption data to understand which product marketing tactics are driving the best adoption to optimize product marketing playbook


Preferred Experience:
  • 5+ years in a product marketing role
  • Industry knowledge of Financial Services/Asset Management vertical preferred
  • Demonstrated ability in launching and growing innovative products
  • Experience working with global sales teams
  • Strong skills in communication, writing, and ability to work well cross-functionally
  • Outstanding teammate with proven ability to lead through influence
  • Proven track record in performing well in a fast-paced environment and organizational skills to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines effectively
