Target Analytics Sr. Account Executive IV

Blackbaud has an exciting opportunity for highly motivated, team-oriented sales professional to join Target Analytics as a Sr. Account Executive. The Blackbaud Sales department is a dynamic arm of the business with strong leadership who rewards high-performers with the opportunity for upward mobility and an aggressive commission structure. Target Analytics provides a suite of solutions that help our nonprofit clients make the most of their fundraising efforts. Our comprehensive data modeling and prospect information gathering technology is customized for each client in order to paint a vivid picture of current and potential supporters – pinpointing the best potential gift-givers. Many clients have used Target Analytics to craft more effective fundraising campaigns; increasing donations by thousands … tens of thousands … even hundreds of thousands of dollars. As a Sr. Account Executive, you will establish new and foster existing relationships with key prospects in a defined sales territory. You will successfully cultivate those relationships into sales contracts by building value in Target Analytics solutions, identifying customer needs and demonstrating the features and benefits of our products. Approximately 25% travel will be required. Responsibilities include:

  • Reaching and exceeding monthly, quarterly and yearly sales targets
  • Maximizing direct and indirect sales in a geographic territory
  • Qualifying sales opportunities
  • Providing return on investment (ROI) solutions in the form of product and service proposals
  • Continuously updating and maintaining prospect database for pipeline management, daily activity and forecast data
  • Utilizing sales force automation tool: Salesforce.com
  • Managing the initial sales process from lead to close
  • Employing the use of both solution selling and The Complex Sale methodology to investigate and identify customer needs and to determine solutions
  • Managing account proposal development to ensure the best overall presentation of Blackbaud to the customer
  • Staying abreast of changes in non-profit markets that impact products or services
  • Staying informed about the competition

Required Experience:

  • 5-9 years of experience in direct marketing to non-profits
  • 1-3 years of Sales experience – inside or outside sales but a combination of both is preferred
  • Fundraising, direct response and development experience is ideal
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • A successful track record in over-quota achievement
  • Proven closing abilities
  • A strong work ethic
  • An extremely goal-oriented attitude
  • A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four year college
