Sales & Marketing Operations Analyst

The Finance and Operations team is currently recruiting a bright, enthusiastic and technology savvy individual to fill a Sales & Marketing Operations role. This person will be responsible for supporting their team and colleagues in a wide range of operational functions, including data entry and analysis, reporting, data improvement projects, internal training and sales support, and account & territory maintenance. This is a London based role, but there will be opportunities to liaise with employees from the US, European and Blackbaud Pacific offices.

Job Duties & Requirements

Sales Operations Tasks

  • Review and provide guidance on quotes in Salesforce, and help troubleshoot any issues
  • Assist Sales and Finance with contract adjustments and terminations, as well as invoice queries
  • Responsible for data administration in Salesforce – data clean-up, territory changes, account owner changes and updates, general maintenance tasks
  • Assist sales management and customer success with specific report and dashboard requests to support strategic and tactical objectives
  • Assist with process improvements, and the ensuing documentation & communication
  • Participate in high priority projects including design & rollout of sales optimisation tools
  • Provide internal training and support to new and existing employees
  • Manage the Sales Operations Request queue and action any incoming requests
  • Help management enforce sales process adherence
  • Support the continuous efforts of the department to improve the operational and financial effectiveness of the organization

Sales & Marketing Operations Analyst

  • Marketing Operations Tasks
  • Manage the Employee Sales Lead Program and distribute monthly reports to the team
  • Work closely with sales and customer success to pull complex email lists for upcoming conferences, webinars and other marketing driven events
  • Track and report on lead source and primary campaign source codes in Salesforce
  • Monitor inbound queues as needed


  • Degree qualified, or good level of academic achievement
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to build a career in Finance or Operations
  • Experience with Salesforce and Marketo preferred
  • Previous Sales Operations work experience preferred as well as an understanding of sales activities and processes

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced excel skills required
