Sales Contract Specialist

The Job: A Sales Contract Specialist is responsible for managing an operations request queue of incoming requests from Sales, Business Support, Customer Finance, & Renewals. The requests will include customizing Blackbaud Order Forms (when appropriate), high level troubleshooting of product/pricing issues, troubleshooting warning/error messages, configuring financed deals, troubleshooting return/exchange contracts, and sales training.

This role will be working directly with internal customers on a daily basis. The ideal candidate must be assertive, analytical, and have excellent communication skills in order to accurately provide responses to incoming requests. This role is pivotal in driving behavior toward standardization, scalability, efficiency, and improvements. The candidate will be responsible for rejecting requests that are not approved by the business, recognizing patterns and recommending improvements and changes to our system to make processes more automated.

The Sales Contract Specialist works very closely with our Legal Department on high dollar, negotiated contracts. Attention to detail, accuracy, and professionalism are a must, and this role will need to ensure proper approvals and controls are adhered to and documented.

In addition to managing presale contract operations, this role will accept incoming contracts that have not gone through the electronic signature process.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Sales Operations, Contracts, &/or Salesforce experience preferred.
  • Ability to handle high volume and stressful situations professionally.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
  • Proven ability to work well with others in a team environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to work overtime to accommodate month end heightened volumes.
