Director of Product Management, Cause & Cure Solutions

Responsibilities

  • Market Analysis
  • Conduct market studies to understand the unique and unfulfilled needs of our clients
  • Establish a view of the total addressable market opportunity for products addressing these needs
  • Research competitive offerings and business strategies
  • Strategy Development
  • Develop an offering strategy to address our clients’ mission / program delivery needs
  • Build a complete business model for the offerings
  • Contribute to the development of the total solution strategy for Cause & Cure
  • Evaluate opportunities for partnerships and acquisitions
  • Financial Management
  • Build a comprehensive business case to support the proposed strategy
  • Manage the P&L for the product offerings
  • Cross Functional Leadership & Management
  • Provide overall leadership across all business functions to ensure the success of the products
  • Serve as focal point for the Cause & Cure vertical team to drive product requirements across the Blackbaud portfolio
  • Partner with the engineering and operations teams to build and deliver the products
  • Ensure an effective go-to-market strategy and execution through the product marketing and sales teams
  • Build a product management team

Qualifications

  • A passion for philanthropy
  • Extensive product management background as both a practitioner and leader
  • Strong capabilities and experience in developing product and solution business strategies
  • Expertise in agile software development methodologies
  • Excellent understanding of software development architectures and technologies – SaaS / cloud experience a plus
  • Experience working in a matrix organization
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • History of deep direct involvement with both clients and business partners
  • Undergraduate degree in business or engineering – MBA a plus
  • Experience in the non-profit industry a plus, in particular with Cause & Cure organizations
  • Some travel required
