Job Description
For our new office in Munich we´re recruiting for a
Sr Manager, New Product Commercialization (f/m/d)
Principal Accountabilities:
- Develop and continuously update the local product commercialization and launch plan (launch and initial ICP inclusive of budget)
- Facilitate cross-functional alignment on product launch related topics and activities
- Work with the Global and European product development/brand teams to ensure the affiliate has all required information and materials, and support the affiliate’s needs in Global/European forums
- Manage select specific commercialization projects required for launch
Qualifications
- Academic Degree (Bachelor or above)
- At least 7 years Pharmaceutical experience (preferably in brand management and/or launch excellence)
- At least 1 full launch experience, preferably in the Neurology/CNS and/or Rare Disease area
- Education and training in sales methodology and sales technique
- Preferably rare disease experience
- Consistent track record of success
- Good written, oral, presentation and communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks; well-developed project management skills
Additional Information
This Position will be responsible for developing the affiliate cross-functional commercialization (launch) plan and facilitating the team through execution of those activities in the pre- and peri-launch period of a product. This Position will act as the business partner for the affiliate functions and will coordinate alignment with Global and European-level teams to achieve high quality and on time launches. They will be responsible for developing and owning the Plan (e.g. activities, responsibilities, timing), and facilitating Launch Team meetings to ensure cross-functional awareness and alignment, driving the team to achieve relevant deliverables on time. The Position will track and manage commercialization-related issues, and lead the team in identifying risks and developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans. They will contribute to the continuous improvement of the launch excellence process based on lessons learned and best practices. Finally, a portion of their time will be to manage specific commercialization projects required for launch.
