About This Role
The Senior Manager, HCP Marketing- Rare Disease position offers an extraordinary opportunity in a therapeutic area with high unmet needs. She/he will be responsible for establishing building and leading HCP engagement activities, including personal promotion.
More specifically, this position will focus on enabling disease state education and branded HCP engagement opportunities through well-planned and executable tactics.
What You’ll Do
• Ensure specific HCP initiatives including marketing programs and campaigns are executed effectively, efficiently, within budget and in accordance with all regulatory/legal requirements.
• Cultivate strong relationships with field force, cross-functional partners, and HCP agencies.

• Lead HCP marketing initiatives in close collaboration with other key functional partners.
Specific initiatives may include:
• Oversee strategic HCP initiatives aimed to drive a successful product launch and brand growth
• Create and deliver HCP messaging and core claims, ensuring alignment with strategy and complementary to other key audience engagement plans.
• Develop field sales materials with consistent pull through of aligned messages – includes digital visual aid, leave behinds etc.
• Partner closely with field sales team to prioritize, focus, and gain alignment on the most impactful campaigns and associated messaging to deliver brand objectives.
• Develop non-personal promotion including HCP website, media drivers, emails etc.
• Manage materials, projects, and resources through the internal review committee process (Promotional Review Committee)
• Manage multiple agency partners including management of associated budgets

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
• 5+ years pharma and/or biotech commercial experience; minimum 2 years marketing
• Excellent communication/coordination/interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively write and deliver presentations to senior management and customers.
• Ability to think innovatively in terms of engaging with customers and meeting their needs.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience within Rare Disease
• Field Sales experience a plus
