Job Description

For our location in Munich we are recruiting for an office-based

Manager, Innovative Therapy management and nurse education Alzheimer’s Disease (m/f/d) as of January 1st 2021 

 

Launch planning an execution

  • Support Aducanumab launch plan and country strategy
  • Supporting disease awareness activities, targeted at HCPs, nurses, and people living with AD

Innovative Therapy management and nurse education development and nurse communications

  • Gain a deep target group understanding and drive meaningful market research together with CMI team to close knowledge gaps and make sure the services developed have high customer relevance for nurses in clinics and offices
  • Creation and localization of nurse education materials and platforms on Alzheimer’s and/or Aducanumab
  • Setup strategy, plan and manage roll-out of therapy management and nurse education towards nurses in clinics and offices in close collaboration with field forces
  • Support understanding and awareness with nurses towards Aducanumab patient/caregiver support program
  • Support development of a strategy for patients/families who are not eligible to be treated with Aducanumab
  • Manage communication/marketing agencies to provide meaningful educational resources and service tools
  • Evaluate, track, report, and develop metrics

 (Cross-functional) collaboration, responsible communication and planning

  • Alignment and cross-functional engagement within Biogen Germany and the regional/global organization
  • Annual project planning
  • Ownership and controlling of budget
  • Strict compliance with all laws, codes of conduct and standards

Qualifications

 

  • This position is open to applicants with either an academic background (Bachelor’s degree or higher; ideally in Healthcare Studies, or a degree in Life Sciences) OR applicants with a nurse background and several years’ experience in nursing or nurse service management
  • Min. 5 years professional experience
  • Patient- and customer-centric way of thinking; two-way-communication approach towards target groups
  • Experience with nurse/patient communications and/or neuroscience in an agency or corporation in the bio-pharmaceutical industry is preferred
  • Affinity to digital products and solutions
  • Demonstrated creativity and innovation in strategy and execution; agile & hands-on mentality; ability to work well under pressure and enjoying a fast-paced environment
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, ability to work across functions and personalities, strong collaboration and teamwork skills 
  • Ability to lead project groups and work in international/cross-functional teams
  • Excellent command of German and English

Additional Information

 

The goal of Patient Services is to empower patients by educating them (and their caregivers and/or families) directly or via neurologists and nurses about living with their respective neurological condition, their prescribed Biogen therapies, to provide services that facilitate the process of starting and understanding as well as staying on their treatment. To support patient education, we provide the strategic framework for nurse education concepts and therapy management trainings, as well as other services for nurses supporting patients. We are focusing on providing (digital) support services and working with the cross-functional teams in Biogen’s portfolio of (future) indications.
