Job Description

This Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for:

  • Working closely with clients to diagnose business processes or organizational problems, and leveraging technology to determine how our clients can seize new opportunities.

Analyzing/documenting current processes and technologies, contributing through to the delivery/ integration of new solutions.

  • Recommending and implementing new technologies

  • Designing and building innovative answers to complex business and IT challenges.

  • Delivering solutions in an agile mode

  • In this role, the Senior Business analyst will concentrate on:

    • Analyze existing processes and systems and identify opportunities

    • Collaborate with business users to understand requirements and translate into functional specifications or user stories.

    • Design and build new solutions

    • Write test plans and coordinate the testing process with users, system integrators, and internal IT staff. Participate in testing activities, as needed.

    • Serve as the single point of contact for the change management process, ensuring application and project changes follow existing processes and guidelines.

    • Coordinate activities with project managers to ensure successful deployments.

    • Critical thinking and analytical skills, including the ability to comprehend and document complex business processes through visual process modeling and other means.

    • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to facilitate dialog among several parties while eliciting requirements.

    • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely to audiences at different levels of the organization

    • Ability to develop clear and comprehensive documentation through text and visuals.

    • Ability to contribute to multiple work streams while adhering to project timelines.

    • Ability to develop strong relationships with both IT colleagues and business subject matter experts.

    •  Produce high level and detailed IT specifications on functional issues within his/her domain

    Qualifications

    • From 3 to 10 years’ experience as a business analyst in industrial environment and ideally from an IT consulting firm

    • Proven knowledge of manufacturing processes (scheduling, production, quality, maintenance…)

    • Able to build efficient partnering with the business 

    • Master degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems or a related business degree.

    • At ease with written and spoken English

    • Part of a global team

    • Available for business trip 10 to 15%

    • No permanent direct report. On project mode, can manage level 1 people belonging to the various COEs and/or contractors

    • CPG / FMCG companies a plus

    • Work in global organization.
