As Better’s Marketing Data Analyst, you’ll wield your analytical expertise to support our aggressive growth goals which can be structured around 3 themes:
Analysis: The ideal candidate relishes the challenge of digging into complex user data across marketing and product data set to help find ways to effectively scale and optimize our marketing campaigns.
Data Storage and Tools: You will also be expected to find new marketing tools, create new databases for new datasets you acquired, and writing scripts to transform or restructure our data to power more in-depth analytics
Experimentation: Creating, running, calling, and documenting experiments in order to drive a better experience is also part of the gig.
Your interpretive work will minimize ambiguity and maximize insights, empowering our team to develop more effective outreach programs.
As an early-stage startup, there is a lot of room for growth at Better if you can execute and deliver results.
Attributes we value
- You have 2-3 years of demonstrated success with statistical/analytical marketing projects.
- You have working knowledge of SQL/Tableau/Excel/R/Python.
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment, able to maintain composure and communicate effectively.
- You enjoy learning and can quickly get up to speed on any topic (most of us didn't know a thing about mortgages before we started).
- Previous startup experience a plus.
