Bolt Threads // Best Made // 18B are seeking a Manager, Analytics, with a strong background in leveraging retail and customer data to drive incremental profit, to build out our analytical capabilities. The Manager of Analytics will oversee all analytical functions: design of measurement frameworks, data capture and analysis, customer insights and application of analysis outputs.

This role will report directly into the VP of Ecommerce. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the delivery of digital & customer analytics and insights across Best Made and 18B, making recommendations and implementing improvements to current business practices
  • Execute ad-hoc and deep dive analyses that will advise Best Made & 18B on how to maximize profitability, drive customer loyalty, and optimize promotional strategies
  • Produce a detailed and complete understanding of the Best Made & 18B customer, maintaining a close view of customer KPI’s and performance metrics on customer acquisition, engagement and retention
  • Manage analytical modeling projects from beginning to end: data selection, cleaning and transformation; model development, implementation and interpretation; and insight application
  • Monitor website shopping funnel performance and identify marketing & merchandising opportunities to improve e-commerce KPIs
  • Participate as the marketing lead in the annual business forecasting process and on an ad-hoc basis to understand the impact of new company initiatives
  • Maintain daily forecasts for key web metrics and measure performance against goals, product categories, marketing channels and device types (desktop/mobile)
  • Partner with product, tech and marketing teams to ensure the right tracking is in place to measure success of initiatives, and to update tracking as new product features and marketing vendors are added
  • Collaborate with the tech // data team to maintain the data warehouse, improving data availability, data integrity and implementation of new technology
  • Define analytics roadmap and prioritize projects based on current company needs & future growth
  • Develop and share weekly, monthly and quarterly e-commerce & marketing dashboards to the organization

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in math, statistics, finance, or related analytical field
  • 4-5 years of experience in an analytical role
  • Expert with SQL
  • Proficiency with statistical software (R / Python)
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Omniture/Adobe Analytics or equivalent
  • Experience with Heap / Mixpanel / Segment or equivalent
  • Experience with Tableau / Looker
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong data presentation and visualization skills
  • Experience with machine learning and large data sets a plus
  • Self-starter & able to manage projects from ideation through completion
  • An expert communicator with outstanding written, verbal, conversational, and improvisational communication skills
