Main responsibilities:
- Lead the production team to manufacture reagent products in compliance with ISO standards.
- Oversee hiring and training of new associates; ensure performance management processes are implemented.
- Develop and execute annual and multi-year operational plans.
- Ensure product quality and implement Lean and Six Sigma programs.
- Manage budgets and resources for production cost centers.
- Collaborate with other business units to strengthen manufacturing capabilities.
- Maintain EH&S compliance and implement safety programs.
- Resolve production and quality issues; manage CAPA processes.
- Support validation protocols and execution as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, economics, science, or engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in biotech industry or research labs, plus 3 years in people and team management within manufacturing/process environments
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Strong knowledge of analytical and problem-solving methods (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) used in development, manufacturing, and quality control
- Proven leadership experience with ability to motivate and manage teams
- Practical understanding of laboratory operations, protocols, instrumentation, and relevant software
- Hands-on experience with project management tools
- Excellent analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational, planning, and coordination abilities
