Our mission is to help people declutter their lives at scale. Our product helps customers (1) effortlessly catalog & organize their stuff, (2) make simple sell/store/donate/ditch decisions, and (3) fulfill those desires on-demand with a few taps on their smart phone.
OSOM is positioned to disrupt several markets including the WW $650 billion consumer to consumer (C2C) e-commerce and US $35 billion consumer storage industries. In fact, $300m+ has been raised in C2C e-commerce since Sept 2016 and $100m+ has been raised in consumer storage since May 2017. Bloomberg called storing your stuff the “Hottest Industry Right Now”.
We’ve begun tackling the challenges to own the stuff management market. Scaling the opportunity requires innovative growth & intersection of consumer features and ops/logistics capabilities.
So, we’re looking for an exceptional Product leader to define and own the path forward. You’ll act as the voice of the customer and interpret those views in context of market dynamics and business objectives to create a compelling vision. You’ll collaborate with and lead design, engineering, marketing and operations via an agile/lean process to ultimately develop a transformative solution.
As a Lead / Principal / Senior Product Manager, you will use your skills to:
Understand customer / users via personas, pain points and journeys
Understand market needs, business drivers, and technology trends
Articulate a clear vision w/ compelling value proposition
Develop product roadmap, feature lists, user stories
Define requirements to create compelling UI/UX
Gather and manage product feedback through surveys, concept testing, analytics tools, and A/B testing
Take ownership of the product we are building – you will have the power to make decisions that directly impact the product and business
Lead multidisciplinary teams through continuous iterations of ideation, scoping, design, development, launch and growth
Manage the product backlog and development priorities
Iterate & release with regular cadence
Partner with marketing to develop product positioning and messaging
Design, monitor and report on product KPIs
As a Director / Lead Product Manager, you will need / we prefer:
5+ years of Product Management experience
Experience founding and/or high impact in building a startup (bonus)
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution in a technical discipline (computer science, electrical engineering)
An MBA or other advanced degree
A demonstrated and focused desire to build products and services that customers will love – experience launching digital products
Strong understanding of mobile and web technologies
Experience w/ e-commerce, big data, AI/ML, and logistics
Experience w/ product planning, agile project management, analytics, and data analysis tools
Empathy, Intellect, Instinct & Drive
Customer-centricity: Ability to empathize / immerse yourself in user’s mindset
