About the Venture

BCG Digital Ventures is building tOS together with one of the world’s largest travel companies. tOS stands for “travel operating system” and is a powerful B2B platform empowering the world’s leading travel brands to build more functional and personalized Applications than ever before. Our corporate partner’s strategic and financial assets give us a significant launch pad as well as a lasting unfair advantage.

Currently, we are looking for a Chief Operations Officer (m/f) to join our motivated team in Berlin.

Your tasks:

  • Participate in the strategic objectives, vision, mission and strategic planning
  • Become part of the top management team and take full ownership over the company's operations setting up scalable processes along the organization
  • Proactively manage the company's day to day operations and lead the Enterprise Partner and Service Provider acquisition workstreams
  • Define the venture’s organizational structure and day-to-day processes, in particular in Sales
  • Be responsible for recruiting and help scale the team, also by leveraging your network of relevant, potential candidates, in particular in Sales and Business Development
  • Help to establish a company culture that is achievement-driven, positive and empowering for all employees
  • Plan and co-set structured performance targets and motivate your teams to achieve them
  • Develop a deep understanding for our market and the competitive landscape
  • Bring in your own ideas and strive for constant improvement
  • Feel fully responsible and contribute to the overall success of the company


  • 5+ years prior professional experience ideally in startups, particularly in operations-based roles
  • Strong leadership experience having led teams of at least 20+ people
  • Track-record of building and scaling companies from scratch
  • Ambitions to significantly grow with the company and willingness to take over major responsibilities
  • Outstanding communication, teamwork, leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Extremely results driven; hands-on approach to problem solving
  • Highly analytical mindset; Strong attention to detail without losing the big picture
  • Have scaled a sales team previously in a high-growth environment
  • Experience in SaaS or Paas is a plus
  • Experience in travel industry is a plus
  • Experience with B2C products is a plus

  • Willingness to relocate to Berlin
  • Fluency in English is a must, German is a plus
