Founded in 2005, Bazaarvoice is headquartered in Austin, Texas with offices in North America, Europe, Asia and Australia.
•Own data stores - Design/ Improve and optimize the elastic search instances ( or another no-sql datastore like red shift , mongo etc. ).
•Identify and deploy fixes to production/qa instances
•Quick prototype of new improvements to datastores.
•Get new improvements approved by design process, and deploy them to production and showcase value gains.
•Excellent communication skills
•Mentoring team members about best practices of using AWS managed data stores.
•Working experience in a cloud native environment, in one of major public clouds - AWS, GCP or Azure.
•8 years or more of experience in using and designing datastores
•experience in designing and maintaining Datastores in Cloud environment
•Experience and knowledge in managing one or multiple Managed Data Stores- Elastic Search, RedShift, DynamoDB, RDS, S3
•Experience in AWS ingestion services : Kinesis, Kafka
•Experience in Compute Services: Lambda, ECS, EKS.
•Working experience in Agile Methodology
•Experience with GitHub/Jenkins/
•(Optional) : AWS certified Solutions Architect or other certifications.
