SMB Account Executive

Description

At Base we are looking for Account Executives who take selling seriously. As we engage with sales leaders in fast growing companies, they don’t have time to tell a sales rep “what keeps them up at night”. We need reps who have the insight and intelligence necessary to quickly build business cases that will get sales leaders to move their team to Base. Our top performers at Base are making more money than our CEO and we’re okay with that.

Your responsibilities as a Sales Account Executive will include

  • Managing a pipeline of 20-30 deals at a time
  • Attentively driving prospects through our process in an efficient and timely manner
  • Collaboratively finding opportunities for improvement in our prospects sales processes
  • Being able to simply and effectively summarize the business benefits that increased sales productivity will bring to sales teams and sales leaders
  • Predictably exceeding your monthly and annual revenue goals
  • Learning on the job and loving what you do so that you can become an expert in our product, SFA and sales productivity

Job Requirements

  • At least one year of closing experience in SaaS or software
  • 4-5 years of quota carrying sales experience
  • 1 year of business development experience preferred
  • Formal sales methodology training and process followed in your sales cycles
  • A passion for sales
  • A clear understanding of web and mobile technologies
  • A track-record of achievement in personal and team environments
  • A hardworking, go-getter attitude
  • Great verbal and written communication skills on the phone and in person
  • Highly motivated, relentless, and hungry attitude to learn and grow
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-growing dynamic environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited, four-year university
